Strangeworld Studios mixing service gives you the opportunity to have your recording mixed by a top UK mix engineer in a professional studio fully equipped with both state of the art and vintage classic audio equipment at a price that is affordable to all.

How does it work?

You send us multitrack WAV audio files of your music either by uploading them to our FTP site or simply by post on a data DVD. We will then assemble the files in Protools before evaluating your track. We will then make a report if anything requires specific attention before mixing. This track count should be limited to 48 tracks or less. If any additional work is required Strangeworld can price the mix according to your exact requirements, depending on the level of production you require and how much time is spent on each track. We also suggest you send a relevant rough mix and Spotify playlist of reference material for the mix engineer and also musical influences and specific songs you would prefer your mixes to sound like.

What do you get?

The mixes you will receive for listening reference are basic cd reference mastered 16-bit WAV files . They have gone through a basic digital mastering process so that they can be realistically compared to other records at similar volumes.

Once this mix has been approved an unprocessed 24-bit WAV file will be created for use in the final mastering process. As well as the final mix, you will also get an instrumental mix and vocal stems. Any additional stems can also be provided if required on request. 24 bit 44.1 KHz master mixes will be provided.

We will keep your mix sessions for 12 months so that you can easily come back for any changes in the future.
